These figures were sold in packs of three, with different variants of Hobgoblins armed with bows, pole-arms and hand-weapons. Each pose probably has 10 variants, with differences in castings in facial features, headgear and weapons (although the bow of the archer is identical on all variants).
Pose 1, variant A. This pose is a Hobgoblin wearing scale armour with oriental-style shoulder guards. He has a dagger in a fur-lined sheath, and a leather shoulder bag. This variant wields a mace with four serrated flanges. He wears a plain conical helmet with a crescent-moon symbol on the front. His head looks forwards, with an open down-turned mouth.
Pose 1, variant B. This variant wields a mace made of a ball with four studded bands. He wears a fluted conical helmet with a twisted cloth band around the edge and a chainmail neck-guard. His head looks to his right, with a grimacing, slightly open mouth.
Pose 1, variant C. This variant wields a mace with a spiked ball with one long, curved spike (a bec-de-corbin?). He wears a plain round helmet adorned with a tall, backwards-curving fin and curved cheekguards. His head looks forwards, with an open snarling mouth
Pose 1, variant D. This variant wields a plain wooden club with a single nail through it. He wears a studded, segmented conical helmet with a partial crescent-moon symbol on the front, and small, curved cheekguards. His head looks forwards, with an open, shouting mouth.
Pose 1, variant E. This variant wields a mace in the shape of a monstrous face covered with spikes. He wears a fur skullcap with a scalemail neckguard and a thin crescent-moon symbol on the front. His head looks forwards, with a part-open leering mouth, and he wears an eyepatch over his right eye.
Pose 1, variant F. This variant wields a hand-axe with a single, notched blade. He wears a plain round helmet with small rivets and cheekguards and a plain disc symbol on the front. His head looks forwards, with aclosed mouth and a large 'handlebar' moustache.
Pose 1, variant G. This variant wields a wooden club with three nails protruding from it. He is bare-headed apart from a narrow cloth headband and his head looks forwards, with a part-open, grimacing mouth
Pose 1, variant H. This variant wields a plain mace made of a steel ball with small studs. He wears a conical helmet with a forward-turned point, a small plain disc symbol on the front, and a chainmail neckguard. His head looks forwards, with an open, shouting mouth.
Pose 1, variant I. This variant wields a mace with six rows of three studs and a tall spike on the end. He wears a round helm with a wide horse-hair plume and a chainmail neckguard. His head looks forwards, with a closed mouth with protruding lower fangs.
Pose 1, variant J. This variant wields a wooden club studded with iron nails and wrapped with coarse string. He wears a small, cylindrical hat with a thick fur headband. His head looks slightly to his right, and he has a partly-open, sneering mouth.
Pose 2, variant A. This pose is a Hobgoblin wearing scale armour with a plain breastplate. He has a dagger in a plain sheath, and a small sack attached to the rear of his belt. This variant is armed with a polearm with a narrow curved, single-bladed head, with the blade facing forwards. He wears a round helmet with an anchor-shaped symbol on the front, and a scalemail neckguard. His head looks forwards, with a slightly open, snarling mouth.
Pose 2, variant B. This variant is armed with a polearm with a narrow curved, single-bladed head, with the blade facing to the rear. He wears a fluted conical helmet with a fur band around the rim, and a short chainmail neckguard. His head looks forwards, with a slightly open, grinning mouth.
Pose 2, variant C. This variant is armed with a polearm with a wide axe blade on one side and a smaller, down-turned rear blade. The blade is facing to the right. He wears a conical helmet with a raised rim and a small spike, with a neckguard made of leather strips, and a crescent-moon symbol on the front. His head looks to the right, with an open mouth and a slightly protruding tongue
Pose 2, variant D. This variant is armed with a polearm with a wide, notched blade on one side and a smaller, down-turned rear spike. The blade is facing to the right. He wears a conical hat with a flat top, a small disc symbol on the front, and a scalemail neckguard. His head looks to the left, with a closed mouth and slightly protruding upper teeth.
Pose 2, variant E. This variant is armed with a polearm with a wide axe blade on one side and a smaller, down-turned rear spike. The blade is facing to the right. He wears a conical helmet with a pair of long, curved horns and a neckguard made of studded leather strips. His head looks forwards, with a partly-open, grinning mouth.
Pose 2, variant F. This variant is armed with a polearm with a wide axe blade on one side and a smaller, down-turned rear spike. The blade is facing to the right. He is bare-headed, with a mohican-style haircut on top and long-staggly hair at the back. His head looks forwards, with a partly-open mouth and a slightly protruding teeth.
Pose 2, variant G. This variant is armed with a polearm with a narrow curved, single-bladed head, with the blade facing forwards. He wears a conical, fluted helmet with a top-spike, a crescent-shaped symbol on the front, and a leather-lined chainmail neckguard. His head looks forwards, with an open, snarling mouth.
Pose 2, variant H. This variant is armed with a polearm with a wide axe-bladed with two large studs, with the blade facing to the right. He wears a round helmet with a crescent-shaped symbol on the front, a scalemail neckguard, and curved cheekguards. His head looks forwards, with a closed mouth with protruding lower fangs.
Pose 2, variant I. This variant is armed with a polearm with a curved, bill-hook type head, with the blade facing to the right. He wears a broad conical 'coolie' hat with a chinmail neckguard. His head looks forwards, with a slightly open, snarling mouth.
Pose 2, variant J. This variant is armed with a polearm with a narrow curved and notched, single-bladed head, with the blade facing to the right. He wears a conical, segmented helmet with a crescent-shaped symbol on the front, a scalemail neckguard, and curved cheekguards. His head looks forwards, with an open, shouting mouth.
Pose 3, variant A. This pose is a Hobgoblin archer firing his shortbow. He is wearing armour made of a jerkin covered with small plates. He has a sword thrust through his belt, a small money pouch and a quiver of arrows over his back. This variant wears a conical, segmented helmet with a small crescent-shaped symbol on the front, and a studded steel neckguard. His head looks along the firing line of his arrow, with a slightly open, sneering mouth.
Pose 3, variant B. This variant wears a conical hat with a flat top, with a small crescent-shaped symbol on the front, and a scalemail neckguard. His head looks along the firing line of his arrow, with a closed, grinning mouth.
